Tasks

BGK's primary task is to support government economic programs, as well as local government and regional development projects. The Law of 17 March 2003 provides guidelines as to the ways in which these tasks should be realized.

BGK provides efficient economic and operational support to the implementation of socio-economic programs of the State and regional development programs of local governments.

BGK takes part in the implementation of 20 government programs.

The Bank is also involved in it's own activity, which mainly consists of the provision of banking services to local government units and to a group of strategic enterprises.

BGK also offers term deposits to individual customers.
